Brown delivered a session titled “Models for Design of GFRP Reinforcement for Crack Control in Slabs-on-Ground.” In this presentation, Dr. Brown explored modeling strategies to control cracking caused by shrinkage and temperature effects—offering design guidance where current ACI documents are silent on the use of FRP reinforcement.
