Backed by 30 years of manufacturing evolution in the GFRP industry, this webinar discusses the latest advances in GFRP-reinforced concrete. The material section contrasts recent developments in the material qualification with ASTM D7957, ASTM D8505, and CSA S807-19 thresholds, underscoring the extra capacity available for durability driven designs. Examples of recent field applications of GFRP bars in various types of concrete infrastructure are highlighted. The talk then unpacks the latest Canadian code activity: the new CHBDC S6-25 draft provision and application-specific standards CSA S900.2 and CSA S413.
